The thinking behind this was, if people kept more of what they earned, they would work longer and harder, leading to more savings and investments. Unfortunately, these tax rates mainly served wealthier Americans. <br /><br />Still, the thinking behind the plan was that these cuts would extend to lower-income people as well, since higher investment would lead to new job opportunities and higher wages.<br /><br />During this time in history, many social programs helping poorer Americans were cut, leaving those without money, even less money and help. Food-Aid programs, Aid to Families with Dependent Children, Medicaid, school lunches, and housing assistance were all cut from lower-class families. <br /><br />Since Ronald Reagan, and his staff, concluded that the government had become too intrusive and invasive, he wanted to decrease the government's involvement. This thinking only lead to slashing needed programs and using money, that could have been used to help lower-income families, on the military, which did not sit well with many Americans.<br />The Reagan Diaries <br />The combination of his large military spending, along with the tax cuts, overwhelmed the moderate reductions in spending on domestic programs, and as a result, the federal budget deficit grew beyond levels it had previously reached.<br /><br />The country saw one of the longest periods of sustained economic growth since World War II; however, a large percentage of this growth came from deficit spending, under Reagan the national debt nearly tripled.<br /><br />During his presidency there was economic growth; however, virtually all the growth in national wealth took place in the highest income group; many poor/middle-class families lost ground as many low and semi-skilled jobs were eliminated.<br /><br />America was becoming rich, but it was the already-rich becoming even richer.Daily Goldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13485546053884339485noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5664190437862125196.post-63247559634662449492016-11-01T09:00:00.000-04:002016-11-01T09:00:25.561-04:00Dealing with the Welfare Dilema<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Welfare and state benefits have and always will be a controversial topic.</span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Some believe people should have to pass a drug test in order to receive benefits, which at first thought, makes complete sense, until you think about it.</span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">There are people who clearly have drug problems in society; however, should a child be punished for this fact? Should a baby be punished? A teenager?</span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Drug testing seems like a good policy, until you really think about it - I was for it at first, until I thought about who it would affect the most. Welfare should not be used as a drug deterrent.</span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Another thought is to reduce or completely cut benefits if the recipient's child does not maintain a certain grade point average in school (or a satisfactory report in elementary)</span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This plan also has plenty of obvious holes - some kids in special education obviously have learning disabilities, as well as children who may have undiagnosed dyslexia, as well as other learning issues - if one child in the household has these issues, should his/her brothers or sisters be punished? </span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This is not an excuse for children; however, it is a fact in some situations - some kids are just lazy with their schoolwork, while some really do have issues that need to be dealt with another way.</span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">With the various ways to monitor people receiving benefits, one policy that makes sense is to hold the parents responsible for their child's/children school attendance. I believe this policy puts more emphasis on responsibility (for both parents and children), more awareness of the child, as well as more of an opportunity for children to receive an education - children have more of an opportunity to learn in school as opposed to missing school.</span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Another policy that puts the emphasis on the parent would be to require that all recipients of any benefits be required to complete a specified amount of community service - clearly if a parent is working two/three jobs in order to feed his/her family, the community service should be adjusted.</span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Another positive of doing community service is the large possibility of an individual learning another skill or trade.</span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">If an individual works as a cashier and does community service as an assistant/secretary in an office or state/county building, the experience gained may lead to a job within that office, state or county, or a job in that particular field - sometimes experience supersedes education.</span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Understandably there are people who cannot work or may have trouble leaving their home, which is easily accommodated by telecommuting to work - meaning these individuals can work form home, either by providing a phone service to a company/organization, or managing simple online duties.</span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The main thing is to get people back to work - careers in parks and recreations, sanitation management, road commission, as well as various other state/county jobs are easily learned on the job.</span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The community service would not only be state/county jobs, there are plenty of local businesses in every community that would benefit, as would all involved.</span></div>

<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">In the winter, the weather can be very unpredictable. Storms can blow in quickly, temperatures can drop suddenly and what was otherwise a nice day can quickly become dangerous. Weather forecasters constantly struggle with this unpredictability; so anyone who puts an excessive amount of faith in their predictions is asking for trouble. As with many things, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.</span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Whenever one leaves the house, it's a good idea to be prepared for any adverse weather changes. Even if the day seems warm, and the weather report is for clear skies, bring a warm jacket along. </span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">While you won't need it most days, that one day you need it makes all the extra hassle worthwhile.</span></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Be sure to set your home alarm form www.Securitychoice.com before leaving. Criminals don't stop working just because the weather turns foul. You never know when you might be late, and you don't want to give them a free day of checking out your house.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The key to winter safety is always to expect the unexpected. Even on days that it doesn't snow, cold and wind can give you a lot of headaches. The more prepared you are, the better you can handle those quick changes in weather.</span></div>

<p dir="ltr">These functions can all be affected by various internal and/or external factors in a business environment. External forces that may affect the management functions of an organization include economical, sociological, political, and technological.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Sociological (external) factors include work ethics, personal values, as well as cultures. This factor has an influence on how management accomplishes individual tasks. Each country/region has its own unique values, and if a company goes international, these values, work ethics, as well as beliefs will affect the company's plans. External values may affect how a company markets itself, as well as how to motivate its employees.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Technological (external) factors may have the biggest affect on how a business operates as well as how it functions in the future. Oftentimes, technological changes happen very quickly and have such an impact on a company that management must be in position to make decisions in order to place the company in a position that allows the organization to adapt to the technological changes.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Technology may determine how management organizes it employees for a given task; for example, in the automobile industry, less employees are needed because robots are able to do the same functions. </p>
<p dir="ltr">Management is responsible for the organization of the company, which includes organizing people/resources. Knowing how many employees are needed for particular shifts is critical for the success of a company, and necessary resources are needed to complete a job; technology affects the available resources.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Political and economical (external) factors include suppliers/vendors, outside competition, as well as customers. Management must monitor the effects of how a competing company may or may not be affecting business; more importantly, understand the changes needed to be made in order to decrease the effects of the competition. In addition, if certain vendors charge more and their product is not of a high enough standard, management must make the proper decisions.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Internal factors include the organizational/company resources available, and used, in order to accomplish goals. Internal factors may include financial, physical, as well as human resources. The human factor, employees, has an affect on how a company does its scheduling (organizing). If employees are not performing to an expected level of standards, then management must make the proper changes (controlling) in order to bring employees up to the expected level of productivity, by directing and motivating (leading) employees.</p>

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif; line-height: 24px;">Demonstrative communication involves facial expressions, an individuals tone, gestures, as well as an individuals general demeanor. A persons actions and tone may not always demonstrate an individuals true character or attitude at a particular time; in fact, relying on any facial expression or tone when speaking to an audience, actually causes a miscommunication of the message, as well as a misunderstanding of an individuals character/beliefs.</span></div>
<div style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; color: black; font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: medium; font-style: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: 24px; margin-bottom: 0in; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px;">
<div style="margin: 0px;">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br /></span></div>
</div>
<div style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; color: black; font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: medium; font-style: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: 24px; margin-bottom: 0in; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px;">
<div style="margin: 0px;">
<span style="color: black;"><span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">For example, an owner’s character may be predetermined to be upset or angered if he/she has a scowl or stressed voice. As a new employee, if an individual meets the owner for the first time and he/she seems agitated, stressed, or harsh, this outward demeanor may not illustrate the owner’s inner thoughts of the employee or the particular situation. However, the employee may think the owner to be upset about the direct situation.</span></span></div>
</div>
<div style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; color: black; font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: medium; font-style: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: 24px; margin-bottom: 0in; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px;">
<div style="margin: 0px;">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br /></span></div>
</div>
<div style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; color: black; font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: medium; font-style: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: 24px; margin-bottom: 0in; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px;">
<div style="margin: 0px;">
<span style="color: black;"><span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">Owners of large as well as smaller companies have responsibilities; owners are responsible for taxes, payroll, the general quality of a product or service, as well as finding individual’s that he/she is able to trust. An owner may become stressed or agitated simply finding employees that he/she is able to trust. An owner must trust his/her managers; the owner must trust that his/her managers will make proper decisions that will have a positive impact on the business.</span></span></div>
</div>
<div style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; color: black; font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: medium; font-style: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: 24px; margin-bottom: 0in; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px;">
<div style="margin: 0px;">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br /></span></div>
</div>
<div style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; color: black; font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: medium; font-style: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: 24px; margin-bottom: 0in; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px;">
<div style="margin: 0px;">
<span style="color: black;"><span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">In the particular situation of an initial meeting between an owner and an employee, the employee may be unaware of an owner’s previous conversation or day; while the owner may not necessarily be upset with the situation of meeting, the new employees, because of the owner’s demeanor, may believe the owner to be upset and agitated.</span></span></div>
</div>
<div style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; color: black; font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: medium; font-style: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: 24px; margin-bottom: 0in; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px;">
<div style="margin: 0px;">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br /></span></div>
</div>
<div style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; color: black; font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: medium; font-style: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: 24px; margin-bottom: 0in; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px;">
<div style="margin: 0px;">
<span style="color: black;"><span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">Something as simple as an unconnected facial expression has the ability to change an entire conversation; events unconnected to the current conversation may alter the message. Demonstrative communication involves facial expressions, gestures, as well as other visual/audible keys that may be misunderstood and interpreted incorrectly. Demonstrative communication factors may mislead the receiver of a message positively or negatively; oftentimes, unknown by the sender of the message.</span></span></div>
</div>
<div style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; color: black; font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: medium; font-style: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: 24px; margin-bottom: 0in; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px;">
<div style="margin: 0px;">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br /></span></div>
</div>
<div style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; color: black; font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: medium; font-style: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: 24px; margin-bottom: 0in; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px;">
<div style="margin: 0px;">
<span style="color: black;"><span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">Demonstrative communication, in this particular situation is ineffective because visual and audible key/signals such as facial expressions, possible gestures such as the owner holding his/her temples, as well as the possibility of the owner’s tone being stressed, all communicate that they owner of the business is upset, which may be completely the opposite of the true feelings of the owner, in reference to this initial meeting.</span></span></div>
</div>
<div style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; color: black; font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: medium; font-style: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: 24px; margin-bottom: 0in; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px;">
<div style="margin: 0px;">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br /></span></div>
</div>
<div style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; color: black; font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: medium; font-style: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: 24px; margin-bottom: 0in; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px;">
<div style="margin: 0px;">
<span style="color: black;"><span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">On the other side of the spectrum, the owner should be more in control of his/her outward emotions by being more aware of his/her facial expressions, gesture, as well as body language. Simple gestures such as a smile, uncrossed arms, as well as not paying attention to a watch, shows the receiver of the message that the sender is comfortable, calm, and wants to be in the conversation. A speaker should be aware of his/her outer demeanor; otherwise, his/her message may be misinterpreted.</span></span></div>
</div>
<div style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; color: black; font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: medium; font-style: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: 24px; margin-bottom: 0in; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px;">
<div style="margin: 0px;">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br /></span></div>
</div>
<div style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; color: black; font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: medium; font-style: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: 24px; margin-bottom: 0in; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px;">
<div style="margin: 0px;">
<span style="color: black;"><span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">Receivers of messages should also be aware of their body language, hand gestures, as well as tone. For example, if the receiver of a message has his/her arms crossed and is slouched down in their seat, the speaker may interpret this as the receiver is uninterested or unimpressed by the message. In addition, if an individual is in an interview or on a date and is interested in what the other party has to offer, then signals such as constantly looking at a watch, not making eye contact, or arms crossed may be interpreted as being uninterested, which may be the complete opposite of the other party’s intentions or feelings about the meeting.</span></span></div>
</div>
<div style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; color: black; font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: medium; font-style: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: 24px; margin-bottom: 0in; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px;">
<div style="margin: 0px;">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br /></span></div>
</div>
<div style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; color: black; font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: medium; font-style: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: 24px; margin-bottom: 0in; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px;">
<div style="margin: 0px;">
<span style="color: black;"><span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">Gestures, body language, facial expressions, as well as eye contact will all have a major impact on how an individual’s message is received; in addition, these actions all have an impact on how an individual is perceived. Speakers as well as audiences should be aware of their demeanor while either delivering or receiving a message. Actions such as body language and gestures have a profound effect on first dates, interviews, debates, as well as on the audience of speakers, and vice-versa.</span></span></div>
</div>
<div style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; color: black; font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: medium; font-style: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: 24px; margin-bottom: 0in; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px;">

<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">Pernell "Sweet Pea" Whitaker was unbelievably good at avoiding being hit by anyone in the ring. Sweet Pea would not only make fighters miss, he would make them miss bad...and often. </span></div>
<div style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; color: black; font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: medium; font-style: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; margin: 0px; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br />When I was younger watching him fight, it seemed as if he knew where the next punch was coming from before it was thrown - he simply was too fast to hit.</span></div>
<div style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; color: black; font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: medium; font-style: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; margin: 0px; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span><span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">Sweet Pea was and is one of the best defensive fighters, not only in my lifetime, but in boxing history.</span></div>
<div style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; color: black; font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: medium; font-style: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; margin: 0px; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br />Being a southpaw fighter may have made it tougher for other fighters facing Whitaker; however, Whitaker's boxing mind and physical quickness obviously played into the factor as well.</span></div>
<div style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; color: black; font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: medium; font-style: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; margin: 0px; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span><span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">This fact was never more apparent than when he shut down Julio Cesar Chavez in 1995, without even breaking a sweat.</span></div>
<div style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; color: black; font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: medium; font-style: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; margin: 0px; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br />Before 1995, Sweet Pea also beat one of the trainers and uncle (Roger Mayweather...the original "Black Mamba") of another great defensive fighter that I have had the luxury to see fight in my lifetime - Floyd ("Pretty Boy") "Money" Mayweather.</span></div>
<div style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; color: black; font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: medium; font-style: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; margin: 0px; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br />"Money" constantly avoids abuse in the ring by either using his quickness or by blocking, or guarding himself against opposing fighter's punches with his left shoulder - this shoulder roll is a technique he learned from his father, Floyd Mayweather Sr, who was also a solid defensive fighter during his time.</span></div>
<div style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; color: black; font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: medium; font-style: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; margin: 0px; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br />Mayweather Jr may be the best fighter ever, depending on who you ask.</span></div>
<div style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; color: black; font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: medium; font-style: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; margin: 0px; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br />But as a fan of the sport, I will definitely say that he is one of the best defensive fighters I have ever seen in my lifetime - although there have been better offensive fighters in boxing, Money still remains undefeated and shows how good his defensive skills are every time he sets foot in the ring.</span></div>
<div style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; color: black; font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: medium; font-style: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; margin: 0px; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /><b><br /></b><b>Notes:</b></span></div>
<div style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; color: black; font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: medium; font-style: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; margin: 0px; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<ul style="-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; color: black; font-family: "Times New Roman"; font-size: medium; font-style: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px;">
<li><span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">Willie Pep and Sugar Ray Robinson are also great defensive fighters; however, this post is about the two best in my lifetime.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">Pep is famously known for winning a round without throwing a punch, showing how great his defense was.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">Robinson, maybe be the greatest boxer ever, is known for winning 100 fights in a row, which ultimately shows how good his defense was as well.</span></li>
